Private ash scattering
If you're holding your pet's ashes and want them scattered at Little Whiskers, we can help you create a meaningful place for them on the hill.
How it works
Some families mail their pet's ashes to be scattered during the next scattering day, while others visit in person.
Your pet’s ashes are prepared and scattered by hand on the hillside, among sage, wildflowers, and the old oaks.
If you’d like, you can add a Memory Tree keepsake to mark their place on the oak that overlooks the land.
For in-person visits, we’ll work with you to create a small gathering on the hillside so you can say goodbye in your own way.
To protect the wildlife that moves through the hillside, the sanctuary isn’t open for general visits.
